Meet the Board

Yorick Ensemble is growing! Now in our 6th year of operation, our little company is beginning to find its place within the Boston Theater community. Given this, we have made the decision to expand our leadership, to ensure the best practices for the company, and we are excited to introduce our Board.

We hope that the Board of Trustees will accomplish (among other things) two primary goals of support and accountability.

 

• Support: In addition to being accomplished theater artists, the folks that work at Yorick Ensemble bring a wide variety of perspectives and skillsets to the table. We want the members of the Board to use their knowledge, vision, and talent to help take the company in new and exciting directions, and to uplift the creative and production teams of our projects.

• Accountability: Until now, Yorick Ensemble’s leadership has been centralized to a few people. This approach has been effective for a small, young company; however, as Yorick has grown, so too has the scope of leadership responsibilities. With the Board of Trustees, we want to include more people in the leadership of the company and allow more voices to help guide our direction, and, if necessary, help correct our course if we start to stray from our core mission.
